Duruma Jar
This Acrylic Painting was inspired by my love for japan, Daruma Dolls, and a certain tv show I grew up watching, it is surrounded by a custom gold Leafed Frame.
Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of good luck, happiness, and endurance. they are also seen as a charm to ward of evil and bring in good fortune. Gold means wealth and prosperity , Green means physical well being, Blue ones mean academic success, Red mean mean good fortune. As you can see all those colors have been brought into this manifestation of one.
